What happens if I am away and won’t be home to receive my QuiteLike order?Updated 6 days ago
If you’re going on holidays (hooray!) you’ll need to forward plan for that and skip that week. You can do this by logging in to your account and pausing your subscription.
But, if it’s a case of you not being able to get home on the day of delivery, arrangements will need to be made. Our delivery partner will leave your box at a safe location based on your instructions.
It’s important for you to nominate a nearby delivery spot that does not require our drivers to make contact with you. It could be that you have it delivered to a friendly neighbour who isn’t going to covet thy delicious goods or perhaps the corner store owner who is happy to store it in their coolroom for a bit.
Wherever it is, please make sure your instructions are clear and concise, and that your delivery spot is well lit, with unobstructed pathways and away from any ravenous pets.
We will send you an SMS shortly before the box arrives and another one just after the box has been delivered. That way you can check it’s safely in the possession of your neighbour, corner store friend or other good egg.
No worries at all, you can easily pause your account for however long you’ll be away. Just go to “SETTINGS>PLAN SETTINGS”, where you’ll see “PLAN STATUS”. From there, move the toggle to the left and select the number of weeks you’d like to pause your account.
Just a heads up, the maximum period you can pause your subscription for is 12 weeks.
What happens to my subscription during the pause period?
Think of it like hitting the snooze button. We won’t deliver or charge you during the pause period. Once you’re back and ready to cook up some weeknight magic, your subscription will be resumed and life will carry on as normal.
Can I change the pause period?
Yep, you can unpause or change the end date of your pause period from the settings page on your dashboard.
To unpause your subscription, simply move the toggle to the right and, hey presto!, your subscription will resume immediately. This applies to the next order.
To change the end date of your pause period, click “Edit” and select a new end date of the pause period.
How will I know the end date of my pause period?
You can see the end date of your pause period on the upcoming order page.
When I pause my account, will I still get a box?
If you have a current order that’s in progress, which you have paid for but hasn't been delivered, this order will still arrive at your address on your pre-selected delivery date. However, if you don’t have a box in progress, we won’t send another until your pause period has ended.
